In recent months we have realized that we too are becoming "antique" and came to the conclusion that it is time for us to retire again. We will once again enjoy a Museum room at home and put some things in storage pending their final disposition. However, our collection of sewing machines has grown to over 90 and we do not have space to store these and other large items like spinning wheels, etc. In order to get them to a wide variety of people who may want to have and enjoy these items, we auctioned them off
in November. We hope you enjoy this virtual tour and encourage others you know to do the same.
If you haven't been,
or want to remember
your visit to the Museum,
take this
Virtual Tour
(This version is best seen on a monitor, not your cell phone.
If you have comments or suggestions, please send them to jsewcraftm@gmail,com.)
There are seven connected "scenes" in this tour. You can click on the arrows to move from one scene to another, You can also use your mouse to move around manually and zoom in or out. In any scene, there will be a set of labeled markers identifying where the arrow will take you or the subject of other "hotspots" which give you more information including more detailed images or videos. Hovering over the symbols on the bottom of any scene will explain what what each symbol is for. Enjoy your tour!
This is the book that started it all. Judy wrote it more than 30 years ago for school-age children to learn to sew.
Now you can have a digital (PDF) copy for free. Just send us an email requesting it, and we will send you a link that you can use to download the 386-page book to your computer.
